Award Staffing has a lucrative opportunity for you! We've teamed up with a prominent die casting manufacturer in the White Bear Lake area and we're looking for skilled, qualified Maintenance and PLC Technicians to start immediately. This is a Direct Hire possibility so carefully review the job description below and let me know if you're interested!

Position Title: Robotics Technician

Schedule: 3rd shift; Sunday- Thursday

Hours: 10: 15pm-6: 45am

OT Required: TBD

Pay rate: $28-48/hr.

Position Description:
? Provide robotic / automation support for production operations.
? Install and program new workcells and robots.
? Perform preventative maintenance on workcells and robots.
? Strive for continuous improvement.
? Keep documents and records up to date and accurate.
? Repair or replace defective components.
? Completes basic and intermediate projects.
? Other duties as assigned.
Employees will comply with the company Integrated Management System (IMS) procedures and work instructions. Employees will perform work in a safe and environmentally conscientious manner according to company policy.

Break Schedule: Two fifteen minute paid breaks and one thirty minute unpaid

? Relevant Associate s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training.
? Ability to read and interpret documents.
? Basic robot, PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting.
? Experience with advanced robot mechanical, controller, gripper and workcell repairs.
? Proficient in advanced mechanical assemblies, sensor technology, pneumatics and vision setups / adjustments.
? Previous experience with automation, robot controls and vision systems highly preferred.
? General math skills required.
? Ability to read electrical and pneumatics blueprints.
? Ability to solve standard problems.
? Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, verbal, diagram, or schedule form.
? Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
? Vision abilities required include; camera/lens set-up, vision tool set-up and calibration for part present/absent features.
? Ability to troubleshoot PLC ladder logic.
? Ability to work on the weekend as assigned.
? Self-starter and team player.
? No regular travel required.
Education Requirement:
Relevant Associate s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training.
Dress Code:
Must wear long sleeves and have a pair of work shoes that stays on site. Boots preferred, but tennis shoes ok if thick shoe without too many holes or vents.

Lifting Req: Up to 50lbs.
