Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Position Description:
Seeking qualified Maintenance Mechanics for our bakery manufacturing environment. We run a fast-paced production plant in Minneapolis which produces over 60, 000 pounds of bread daily. We have a brand-new production line and new production equipment which requires excellent mechanical and technical abilities. Join our team and work with state of the art equipment!
2-year degree in electronics or combination of vocational training, education and experience
Experience as an electronics technician, or 2 years vocational training in maintenance mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, machine shop, electricity, electronics and programmable computers.
PLC experience is a huge bonus!
Electrical license, boiler, refrigeration or electrical licenses are a plus.
Minimum 2 years experience in plant and production equipment maintenance.
Ability to operate machine tools, power tools, forklift, welding equipment
Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics, troubleshoot production equipment, and communicate effectively with machine operators, vendors and other team members.
Education Requirement: 2-Year Degree in electronics or combination of vocational training, education and experience.
Requirements for the position: ESSG/Package A
Pay: $25-$30 DOE
Job Description:
Troubleshoot/repair electrical problems of plant and packaging/processing equipment such as wiring, circuits, fuses, switches, electrical installations, transformers, motors and AC/DC motor drivers.
Troubleshoot/repair electronic problems on plant packaging/processing equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
Design/fabricate replacement parts or equipment: weld, lathe, mill, presses, grinders, repair equipment.
Provide maintenance and operator training.
Use computerized maintenance system for history and parts inventory; purchase/request replacement parts when necessary.
Provide input into mechanical, electrical and electronic designs of equipment. Perform other duties, as assigned.

Scheduled Work Days: Monday Sunday (Some weekends apply as they do PMs at that time, so typically people have a day off during the week)
Hours: 2pm to 10: 30pm
OT: Some OT to cover vacations can happen
Dress Code: Jeans and shirt fine./casual
