Position Title: Cost Estimator/ Project Manager

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 7: 00am to 3: 30pm

OT Required: May be occasional

Pay rate: $20.00 to $28.00 hour ($40, 000 to $60, 000 per year)

Position Description:
Job Summary:
1. Provide detailed, accurate, and timely cost estimates (bids) for client/prospects. This position works closely with our sales/business development team to reach stated goals and objectives by effectively utilizing company resources to promote our products and services. Focus on developing and implementing new systems and procedures, as needed, that align with VSI standards and values; with the goal to maximize return on investment, personnel and company assets.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Provide detailed, accurate, and timely cost estimates (bids) for client/prospect proposals.
- Coordinate with Business Development team and assist them in their marketing efforts
- Complete all invoicing weekly.
- Work in alignment with D2 budgets, and revenue goals.
- Provide weekly updates to COO regarding revenues, cost controls, completed projects and staffing needs.
- Ongoing Project Management work
- Monitor and evaluate existing processes/procedures and develop new procedures that increase operational efficiencies
- Attend weekly meetings with D2 Operations and Business Development teams to ensure that projects have been satisfactorily completed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Other miscellaneous duties as signed

Relationships:
2. The Estimator position works closely with the COO. In addition, ongoing, daily communication with the Operations and Business Development Teams will be maintained to ensure that all job bids (estimates) are completed in a timely manner.

Experience:
Extensive knowledge of the furniture industry
Client relations experience

Physical Requirements:
Valid drivers license and transportation
Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Dress Code:
Work gloves if desired
Black T-shirt or polo w/ no logo & clean, jeans w/out holes
No open toed shoes

Requirements for the position:
Education:
College degree or equivalent training and experience
Continuing education in management, communications, leadership skills and others as available

Must have valid Drivers License; reliable transportation
Work Environment:
Regular travel to job sites in Metro area
Other travel as required

Lifting Req: Up to 60 lbs.

Company Description:
Assembling office furniture. Work to be performed at client sites within and outside of the metro area.
