Position Title: CMM Programmer

Location: Roseville

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Hours: 7am-4: 30pm

Pay rate: $22-24 based on experience

Position Description:

The CMM Programmer assures that products, tooling, and processes produced are in compliance to customer and internal requirements and specifications. Works effectively with engineers, inspectors, supervisors, and production associates to resolve quality issues, achieve team objectives, and promote quality principles. Heavy emphasis will be placed on program development, validation, first article part layout and CMM inspection to qualify new or revised tooling and/or parts.

 -Create, revise, and maintain DCC-CMM programs using PC-DMIS 3.7 or higher

-Create CMM setup instructions

-Proficiency in surface plate tools and techniques

-Use common gages and measurement instruments for inspection purposes

-Verify product conformance through extensive use of DCC-CMM, advanced inspection tools, gages, and visual and mechanical inspection methods

-Interpret and work for detailed engineer drawings, 3D models, external

- internal specifications and requirements

-Thorough knowledge of GD&T and the application of AMSE Y 14.5M

-Generate/update inspection plan (ballooned print/drawing)

-Participate in design reviews, APQP, PPAP, and CAR cross functional teams to ensure that conformance to specifications, inspectability, reliability, safety, and quality system objectives are met

-Prepare detailed inspection documentation such as written descriptions of inspection results including deviations from engineering specifications

-Responsible for daily maintenance of CMM machines and other inspection tools and gages and assist in the maintenance of the calibration system and its gages and tools

-Analyze inspection reports to determine adherence to drawings, specifications, processing procedures to insure quality of manufacture

-Apply knowledge of geometry, trigonometry, and dimensional metrology

Skills:

-Experience with DCC-CMM programs using PC-DMIS 3.7 or higher

-Thorough understanding of GD&T

-Understanding of trigonometry, geometry, and dimension metrology

-Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Word & Excel), statistical software, Minitab or equivalent, and Data Page Dress Code: Jeans and cotton shirt & steel toe boots are required
