Position Title: Line Lead

Schedule: Monday- Thursday

Hours: 3: 30am-3: 30pm

Pay rate: $14.50/hr

 

Job Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

         Responsible for management of a production line.

         Responsible for managing product changeovers, raw components documentation, finish goods reporting, and personnel management.

         Complete daily documentation that includes: Verification of components, tracking of labor hours, quality verification documents.

         Training of new employees that may include both temporary and full time staff.

         Expected to work on the line along with the production associates to aid progress on the line when necessary.

         Responsible for tracking all waste/scrap for every batch.

 

SAFETY

         Maintains good safety practices.

         Sees that all accidents, incidents, and near misses are reported ( via reports), and that first aid is given in case of injury.

         Insures that all safe working procedures are followed and observed.

         Checks for unsafe conditions during their shift, and either corrects or reports these items to the supervisor.

         Maintains a high standard of housekeeping as part of normal operations.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities                                                      

         Directly supervises line leads in Production.

         Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

         Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 

Requirements:

 

           Comfortable working in a high fragranced environment

           High School Diploma or GED

           Friendly and highly motivated

           Willing to learn and train

           Ability to stand and walk the entire shift

           Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

           Basic math skills
