1st shift - AP/AR-Order Processing-Customer Service Clerk - Distribution Company in the west metro with a family atmosphere!

Duties and Responsibilities of this position:
Answer multi-line phone system and direct all incoming calls and walk-ins.
Process sales orders over the phone, investigate any issues with vendors, purchasing agents, customers, or employees.
Track shipment of orders for customers, clients and employees.
Deposits for cash and credit card purchases and complete cash control sheet on a daily basis.
Reviews and posts receipts and payments to appropriate ledgers, spreadsheets, records, and databases.
Prepares, sorts, copies, files, and mails invoices, receipts, checks, correspondence, and other requested items.
Audit invoices, freight bills and manifests.
Prepares accounts payable checks.
Analyzes and negotiates extended terms with vendors when cash is restricted.
Prepares analysis and summaries of accounts.
Monitors accounts payable and receivable to ensure payments are accurate and timely.
Reconciles bank statements.
Basic general ledger understanding.
Make journal entries.

Education and Experience:
High School diploma required
3 - 5 years relevant work experience

Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Familiarity with Sage ERP/MAS 90 software a plus.
Work well in a team oriented organization and work efficiently in a high energy environment.
Must have strong multitasking skills, organizational skills, prioritizing skills, and be a self-motivated, self-starter!
